RAC will be the featured band at the Rebublican Watch Party, Tulsa, OK on the evening of Nov 4th at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Tulsa- 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. This event will spotlight Senator Jim Inhofe and Congressman John Sullivan. This a public event; everyone is invited to attend. As a reminder, VOTE on Tuesday, November 4th in this election. |

Mandolin & Fiddle Championships-Tulsa State Fair |
 Tulsa is home to the Oklahoma State Mandolin and Fiddle Championships held on September 27th & 28th at the Tulsa State Fair. Congratulations to Sterling Abernathy, mandolin player for RAC for his 2nd place finish in the mandolin championship and congratulations to Eric Dysart, RAC's fiddle player for finishing 4th in the fiddle championship. We are very proud of both of you! |

WALNUT VALLEY FESTIVAL 2008 |

 We will be in Winfield, KS for our first appearance at the 37th annual 2008 Walnut Valley Festival. Even though the campgrounds had to be evacuated due to excessive rain/flooding, in the true spirit of Walnut Valley, the festival will happen and performances will go on as planned. There are many "refugee campsites" available throughout the area.

SAM BUSH & Rockin' Acoustic Circus |

 Rockin' Acoustic Circus opened for Sam Bush at the Blank Slate in Tulsa on Thursday, July 10th. We had a blast and will have pictures posted here soon. Sammy and the band were a huge hit in Tulsa...we were honored to open their show.
Sam Bush is affectionately titled as "King of Newgrass" and was cofounder and leader of the progressive bluegrass band "New Grass Revival" through 18 years during the 1970's and 80's. Today, he helms the ever-popular Sam Bush Band, and the mandolin prodigy from Kentucky is a prodigious influence on musicians young and old...including the Rockin' Acoustic Circus! |
