Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival - Oak Hill, NY
"Very talented...very special! I really think they are the best thing to come along in quite awhile. We're thrilled to have them at Grey Fox." -MARY DOUB, Grey Fox

"When I heard 'The Circus' at IBMA this year, I was spellbound - the kind of spell I fell into when I first heard Chris Thile.  One of the things I love about RAC is that they are very much a constellation of equally brilliant players with a fresh and gorgeous repertoire.  I couldn't wait to hear what they'd do next."                              MARY BURDETTE, Grey Fox

Wintergrass - Seattle, WA
"From the moment I heard Rockin' Acoustic Circus, I knew our Wintergrass audience would love them. They have that young energy that is so fun for audiences and you can tell they are all accomplished musicians that have a good sense of not only music, but performance as well." -STEPHEN RUFFO, Wintergrass

Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame - Tulsa, OK
"I have been a fan of this group for some time now, and they have performed at the Jazz Hall of Fame on various occasions and always standing ovations. It's really refreshing and thrilling for me to see young people who have their heads on straight, and focused on their future with a positive attitude." -CHUCK CISSEL, CEO, Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame

OKLAHOMA TODAY MAGAZINE
"Rick Morton once made a career out of fighting four-alarm fires. Now, as "ringmaster" of the Rockin' Acoustic Circus, he's fanning the flames of one of Oklahoma's hottest up-and-coming bands. The band's combination of tenacity and talent has wowed crowds and critics across the state and region."

The band caught the attention of Oklahoma Bluegrass Legend, BYRON BERLINE: "The thing that impresses me about the Rockin' Acoustic Circus is that the band strives for originality, bringing their own distinctive style to bluegrass standards. They step out and do traditional tunes their own way. They're not copycats, and you see copycats all the time in bluegrass. They bring their own style and feel to it." -BYRON BERLINE, Oklahoma Legend & Three-Time National Fiddle Champ

Emerging Artist Spotlight: Rockin' Acoustic Circus
"Throughout the 60 plus year history of bluegrass music, there have been many young men and women that started breaking musical molds at a very young age...Sam Bush, Ricky Skaggs & Chris Thile-some of the greatest mandolin pickers of all time. There are bluegrass Bobby Fischers everywhere, and it seems the Rockin' Acoustic Circus is going to put Oklahoma on the youngsters-in-bluegrass-map. The Rockin’ Acoustic Circus (RAC for short), is a six-piece bluegrass outfit that boasts five members that buy their clothing in the children’s departments, & one adult musical veteran. They are quickly morphing from a well-received regional act into a hopeful national sensation with their astounding talent and incredible motivation. The talent pool is overflowing, the waters of musicianship needing a larger place to settle and lie still. They’ve already blown away folks on festival stages around the Midwest and opening for folks like Sam Bush; it seems the next step is going to be one small step for bluegrass, but one giant leap for the RAC."

I've appointed myself as president of their fan club."

A Day At the Circus
"If all you heard was their music, you’d have a hard time believing that most of the members of Rockin’ Acoustic Circus aren’t even old enough for a driver’s license. In just a year, the group has already performed at a variety of regional festivals, released a new album and will open for Sam Bush."
